Enrolling Your Child

The following information will guide you through enrolling your child as a new student in our school district. We look forward to working with you and your child throughout their education.   

Enrollment Overview:

Student enrollment is completed online through a central portal for all campuses. Once you complete the online registration, please take all required documentation listed in step 2 to your child's new school (or upload within the online application).  You will be contacted by your child’s new school once the enrollment has been processed for the 2025-26 School Year.  Please note that enrollments will be created for students currently enrolled in an NC Public/Charter School in July 2025.

Enrollment Process:

Step 1:  Identify your child's school based on your home address.

Use the search query below to determine which school your child will attend.  If you have questions about your child's school assignment, contact the Transportation Department for Granville County Public Schools at 919-693-4520.

Note:  If you are applying for Granville Early College High School and/or Granville Academy, please complete the school's admissions application.  If the admissions application is approved, you will be directed to complete the online application Step 3.

Step 2: Collect Required Documentation

Once you have submitted the online enrollment, you will be contacted by the school  to complete the enrollment process. You may choose to upload (OPTIONAL) the required documents when you register your child online.  If you do not upload the documents, please make sure you have the following documentation when you visit the school:

  • A copy of a current utility bill (electric, gas, water/sewer) or a lease agreement/mortgage statement showing the physical address of your home within the last 60 days

  •  A copy of your child’s birth certificate

  • The completed Health Assessment from a doctor with a copy of current immunizations for the child

  • Parent/Guardian photo ID

  • Transcript/Report Card from your child’s previous school (if available)

  • Legal custody papers if applicable

COMPLETE STEP 3 OR 4 BELOW.  (PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE BOTH STEPS.)

Step 3:  Complete the Online Registration.  

Click the blue button below to complete the online registration for your child(ren).  If you are unable to complete the registration online, please proceed to Step 4 to complete the PDF Registration Packet.

Step 4:  Complete PDF Registration Packet 

Download and complete the registration packet below only if you are not able to complete the online registration in Step 3.  You may download, complete and print the packet.  The completed packet must be taken to the school along with the required documents listed in Step 2.
