Hi! I am Mrs. Zook!

I am SO excited to be serving the GCMS community! 

I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago.   I attended Monmouth College for my undergraduate & Eastern Illinois University for my masters.  I live in Fisher with my husband Gilvie, our daughter Emilia, and our dog Kona.  

I am very passionate about school counseling. I was lucky enough to have an incredible school counselor in high school who helped me understand what I was capable of doing with my future.  I strive to give that care and support to my students. 

Middle school is such an foundational point in life. I enjoy helping students through managing peer relationships, building self-esteem and self worth, as well as anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges. I am also here to help with student scheduling, academic advising, 504 plan eligibility.
