I performed my graduate work in David Jacobson's lab at Vanderbilt, where I studied the function of two-pore domain potassium (K2P) channels in pancreatic islets. I then did my postdoctoral work in Jim Trimmer's lab at UC Davis investigating ion channel signaling complexes in brain neurons.
