Adding Apps to iPad

Students should leave their Managed Apple ID signed into iCloud on their devices, this ensures that the data is always backed up in the cloud. Students can sign in the iTunes using a Personal Apple ID .


  • To do this Go To “ Settings “

  • Select Your ID in the top left .

  • Next Select The : Media and Purchases “ option and Sign Out

  • A message will Appear “ Are you Sure , this will only sign you out of theApp Store Music ,Books and Podcasts

  • Select "Sign Out"

  • Select The “Media and Purchases". Again it will then ask you if you want to continue as the same Managed Apple ID that is currently signed into iCloud

  • You then sign in with your Personal Apple ID


This allows the user to be signed into iCloud with their school managed Apple ID

and into the Media and Purchases Section with their Personal Apple ID
