Technology Integration
I am looking forward to teaching Social Studies and Technology. I will be teaching the following classes this school year:
7th grade Social Studies
8th grade Social Studies
6th grade technology
6 unique technology elective classes for 7th & 8th graders
Learn to Code
Advanced video game design
3D Printing
Arduino
Basic robotics
Advanced robotics
A little about myself: I attended UW Parkside and graduated with a degree in History & Teaching. I then attended Cardinal Stritch to earn additional teaching licenses. I have created all the technology curriculum listed above. I regularly teach workshops and presentations on a variety of topics throughout central and southern Wisconsin.
I currently have the following teaching licenses:
1777 - Regular Education grades 1-9
1745 - Sociology grades 6-12
1735 - Political Science grades 6-12
1701 - Broad Field Social Studies grades 6-12
1725 - History grades 6-12
8013 - Technical Education & Tech Related Occ. grades 4k-12
I am excited about Brookwood's elective technology offerings. I currently offer the following elective classes for 7th & 8th grade students: Learning to Code class using Scratch, advanced video game design class, a Lego robotics course, an advanced robotics course, 3D printing, Basic robotics, Advanced robotics, and Arduino. The Arduino circuit and programming class is now available to students who meet the requirements. Please take a few minutes and check out the navigation bar along the top of the screen.
