2025 was an amazing for our National History Day students at iUniversity Prep!
At Texas History Day (the NHD state competition) we had fifteen students present 13 projects!
7th grader Cassidy McCarthy won 2nd place for her Individual Website "The West Virginia Mine Wars: Justice in the Coal Fields" Cassidy becomes the first student in iUPrep history to advance to the National History Day National Competition held in College Park, Maryland June 8th-12th!!!
Sophomore Hayden Rockaway won 3rd place for her paper "Ethical Responsibilities and Informed Consent in the Doctor’s Trial: The Nuremberg Code as the Basis for Protecting Medical Human Rights in the Modern World" This is the 2nd time that she has received a medal at Texas History Day!
