Welcome to 3rd Grade
We are so excited to have your child with us this year!
Absences/Ride Changes
Student Absences: Please email your child's homeroom teacher and copy oct.attendance@gcisd.net, if your child will be absent for any reason.
Ride changes: Please email danielle.harp@gcisd.net and grace.sigrest@gcisd.net by 2:00 p.m. whenever your child is going home in a way other than normal.
Breakfast, Snacks and Water
Please be sure that your child eats a good breakfast before school. We start our day as soon as they walk in the door. Please send a small (peanut-free) snack and refillable water bottle with your child each morning.
Headphones
Please be sure your child has a working set of wired headphones that can be left at school. We need them for the work that we do with technology. Thank you in advance.
Birthdays
Birthdays are special. We will celebrate your child's special day with singing in our classroom. You may send in small treats like pencils, erasers, stickers, etc., if you choose. Please refrain from sending in any food item.
