ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS

  • Attendance is mandatory during in person or distanced learning school instruction.

  • Attendance in distance learning is defined as a student’s live presence during face-to-face instruction. We recognize that distance learning is challenging for some families due to scheduling and that there might be occasions when a student cannot attend the live session. In order to get attendance credit the family must communicate with the teacher regarding this conflict and the student must complete all related assignments.

  • We highly recommend all students attend school every day as this provides the most engagement between student and course material as taught by the teacher.

  • Teachers will maintain comprehensive logs of student attendance so, the school can provide intervention for students who are not engaged. Failure to complete assignments will result in lower grades and loss of learning.
