Hello EPIC family,

I hope you had a wonderful summer! For those of you entering middle school or new to EPIC, welcome! I am excited to be your math teacher! For those of you returning and entering 7th and 8th grade, I missed you! I will do my best to teach you math and, with your help, overcome challenges. I care that you learn math, but most importantly, I care that you develop the habit of doing what needs to be done, when it has to be done, whether you feel like it or not! Hereunto, I will simply refer to this as THE HABIT.

I insist that you develop integrity! Integrity, in simple words, is described as doing the right thing even when no one is watching! If you are reading this page, I encourage you to read out loud, at the top of your lungs, the following pledge:

"I will develop THE HABIT and have integrity towards my own learning in order to succeed!"

Integrity is at the heart of developing the discipline to succeed. I will emphasize this point everyday! Can't way to see you in person!
