IMPORTANT INFORMATION: ILP Applications Due SEPTEMBER 12TH- NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BEYOND THIS DATE!
Change for the 25-26 School Year: NO students will be permitted to lift weights or exercise for an ILP outside of the high school building. Anyone interested in this ILP must use the GCHS weight room during advisory, unless approved by Dr. Smith and Dr. Nemet.
Weekly Expectation:
Contact your mentor before Friday to let them know how you are meeting the goals established for your ILP.
Spend approximately 3 hours per week working toward the goals established for your ILP.
Add to your portfolio for your final ILP presentation.
Keep track of what you did for that week in some kind of log.
Quarterly Expectations:
Spend approximately 25 hours working toward the goals established for your ILP
Complete the end of 9 weeks Log and be sure to have your mentor sign off that you have been working towards your goals.
Attend the 9 week check in on your scheduled day (see Important Dates tab for dates).
Bring your end of 9 weeks log to your check in.
End of Year Expectations:
Spend approximately 100 hours working toward the goals established for your ILP
Develop a presentation with your mentor showcasing what you have learned through your independent learning plan.
Your presentation should have artifacts that show this. See resources below for presentation rubric.
