Within the Gloucester High School's NJROTC program we pride ourselves in our commitment to serving our community and we attempt to instill that same pride in community to our Cadets. As a program, we require each Cadet to perform a certain amount of community service hours every year in a tiered system that increases the amount of service that is expected with each year of experience the Cadets attain. We have provided many opportunities for each cadet to attain these hours which have included activities such as Stadium Clean-ups, Campus Cleanups, helping at the local Food Bank, and helping at the local SPCA. We always look forward to seeing how each year's Cadets come up with more diverse and interesting opportunities to serve their community.
Our NS2, 3, & 4 Cadets are required to complete 12 hours of community service per quarter, equaling 48 hours of community service each school year.
Our NS1 Cadets are required to complete 10 hours of community service per quarter, equaling 40 hours of community service each school year.
