Calculating your GPA (Grade Point Average)

In order to calculate your GPA follow these steps:

1. Refer to the chart below to know the letter grade that corresponds to your numerical grade.

A = 100-90

B = 89-80

C = 79-70

D = 69-60

F = 59 and under

2. Using your letter grade for each class, convert grade into GPA quality points. See chart below to convert letter grade to quality points.

Standard Courses Honor Courses Advanced Placement/CCP Transfer Courses

A = 4 A = 4.5 A = 5

B = 3 B = 3.5 B = 4

C = 2 C = 2.5 C = 3

D = 1 D = 1.5 D = 2

F = 0 F = 0 F = 0

3. Next add all of the quality points (QP) together.

4. Divide total number of quality points (QP) by the amount of classes you have taken. This will give you your GPA. QP/Classes = GPA
