School Counseling Program

ASCA National Model

This school counseling program is founded in the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model that emphasizes a comprehensive, developmental, preventative, and data-driven approach to school counseling and incorporates the four elements of foundation, management, delivery, and accountability. We will use this program to help every student achieve success.

School Counseling Program Vision & Mission Statement

8 Character Traits

The Student Act of 2001 directs each local board of education to develop and implement character education instruction with input from the local community. The Act directs local boards to incorporate this instruction into the standard curriculum.

At Sadler, we emphasize these 8 character traits throughout the school year through monthly character trait lessons in the classroom!
