Great Start Girls!

The girls soccer team began their season by running all over the Roadrunners from Southwest yesterday 9-0. Team captains Londyn Maitra and Katie Fangman led the Eagles. Maitra ruthlessly attacked the net posting a hat trick and dishing out 2 assists. Fangman relentlessly applied pressure up top scoring 2 goals and assisting on 3 others.

Lilly West sliced through the physical defense scoring twice. Sophie Travinsky’s beautifully placed header on a corner kick mercifully ended Southwest’s day. Riley Polkinghorn and Reegan Racz also provided assists.

Delaney Hughes displayed her fearlessness in the first half including 2 important saves while Lucy Apple provided an exciting and aggressive second half save.

Your Eagles now turn their attention to hosting county nemesis Mt. Holly next Monday.
