Some of the major concepts we will review are:

Expressions and Equations

8.EE.5 ~ I can find the unit rate (slope) of a proportional relationship. Give me a table, graph or equation. Watch me compare two of them and tell you which is more or less than the other!

8.EE.7 ~ Go ahead and give me an equation. I can solve it! Don't matter if it has distributive property, combining like terms or rational numbers! Give me a verbal description, I can solve that too. Bring it on!

8.EE.8 ~ I can graph a systems of two linear equations and find the solution. Not only that, I will solve a systems of equations using substitution. Bam!

Functions

8.F.2 ~ I got this one! It is almost like 8.EE.5, they just changed up the y-intercept on me. I have even added in that standard form!

8.F.4 ~ Hit me with more of the rate of change (slope) and drop in some y-intercept. I can graph and write equations from tables. Positive, negative, zero or undefined, I can do it all!

8.F.5 ~ Everybody's got a story. I've got one too! Give me a graph and I will tell you something new. That vertical line is trippin'!

8.F.3 ~ Is it linear or non-linear? Give me some points and I can tell you. Constant is the clue!

Geometry

8.G.2 and 3 ~ Translations, reflections, rotations and dilations. Give me a polygon and I can make it prime!

8.G.5 ~ You call it an argument. I say use reasoning, to find measures of interior and exterior angles. If it is missing, I will find it!

8.G.7 and 8.G.8 ~ I can find a missing side of a right triangle using the Pythagorean Theorem. Given two points, let me show you how long it is. I got this!
