Highland’s HOSA celebrated National HOSA week from November 2- 6 with various themes each day.  Monday the club officers and members handed out temporary HOSA tattoos to students. Tuesday students wore scrubs in the spirit of health care workers. HOSA officers also delivered cookies and certificates of appreciation to local health care professionals who have supported the school’s medical pathways and programs. Wednesday was the HOSA general meeting; Robin Shaw from the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Charlotte, NC, visited the school and informed HOSA members about the works of LLS.  Furthermore, Wednesday was overall spirit day. Thursday was Buffalo Wild Wings night where ten percentage of all sales went to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. The week was successful because members were able to show off HOSA pride and make a difference in the school and community.
