• Policies and Procedures:

  • Students not accompanied by a teacher must bring a hall pass or notify the Media Specialist before visiting the Media Center.

  • Returned books should be placed on the circulation desk next to the check in computer.

  • Students may have two books checked out at a time and may keep them for two weeks. 

  • Books may be renewed once unless it is a popular series book, a high demand book, or a hold has been placed on the book by another student.  

  • There are no overdue fines for late books. However, students may have restricted check-outs until the overdue item is returned.

  • Accidents happen but books that are lost or damaged beyond repair must be paid for by the person responsible. Replacement cost is a flat fee of $10. It is recommended that students report any damage they notice to materials they are checking out to the Media Specialist BEFORE leaving the Media Center so that it can be noted. 

•  Expectations:

  • Please use a conversational tone of voice.

  • Take care of all checked out items.

  • Place unwanted items on the circulation desk next to the check in computer so they can be shelved correctly. 

  • Help keep the library neat and clean - no food, drinks, or gum, take any trash with you, push in the chairs.

  • Stay on task.

  • Be kind, courteous, and respectful of others.
