Kurdistan is one of the hotspots for biodiversity and plant diversity in the middle east. Plants play a key role in ecosystems. They are a source of food and medicinal compounds while also providing raw materials for many industries. Rapid deforestation and industrialization. Biodiversity of plants ensures a resource for new food crops and medicines. Plant life balances ecosystems, protects watersheds, mitigates erosion, moderates climate, and provides shelter for many animal species. Despite its richness, little is known about the diversity of plant life in Kurdistan of Iraq. Still there are so many species nobody knows what they are in the mountains.

Abortion is one of the main problem of women during pregnancy worldwide. Several pathogens are responsible causes for certain cases of abortions. Women must have enough background about these problems especially before and during pregnancy period. The objective of this workshop is to explain how these pathogens are related to abortion and to protect themselves against them.
