Mr. Gregg is entering his 20th year teaching and his first at Webb Middle School. Before coming to Webb he was the assistant band director at Johnson Middle School in Irving for one year, spent ten years as the band director at Commander William C. McCool Academy / Smylie C. Wilson Middle School in Lubbock, and taught at Lincoln Middle School in San Angelo and in Hart and Crosbyton.
Mr. Gregg earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at Texas Tech University. He holds a Master Teacher designation in the Teacher Incentive Allotment and is board certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Mr. Gregg is a member of TMEA, TBA, TMAA, PAS, and TCEA.
When not teaching band, Mr. Gregg enjoys CrossFit, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with his wife of 22 years, Erin, and their 5 year old miniature schnauzer, Rex.
Mr. Vasquez is originally from El Paso, Texas and is a graduate from Hanks High School. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from The University of North Texas. Mr. Vasquez currently teaches woodwind and brass beginner classes, conducts the Symphonic Band, and assists with the Honors Band. Mr. Vasquez is joining the Webb Bear family after teaching at Schrade Middle School for four years.
During his time at North Texas, he was a part of the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Wind Orchestra. Mr. Vasquez was also a part of Mu Phi Epsilon, Emerald Eagle Scholars, UNT Hispanic Student Association, and the Green Brigade Marching Band. He held leadership roles in Mu Phi Epsilon and the Marching Band. While at Schrade, Mr. Vasquez held a position on the school's social committee.
Aside from teaching at Schrade Middle School; Mr. Vasquez student taught in Frisco ISD and McKinney ISD and was a substitute teacher in Frisco ISD for a year.
Mr. Vasquez's professional affiliations are Texas Music Educators Association and Mu Phi Epsilon. During his free time, he spends time with friends and family, travels Texas, and catches up on trending media. He is also trying to one-hundred-percent all the Pokémon games.
