October 1 & 2
Honor & Symphonic Bands @ High School Preview Night

All eligible Honor Band (2nd period) and Symphonic Band (3rd period) students will attend a high school band preview performance on Thursday and Friday, October 1 and 2. Please see below for more detailed information.

Students must be ACADEMICALLY ELIGIBLE to attend this event! This means you must be passing all classes (70+) on the 9/18 progress report.

This is a performance grade and will require a make-up test for any absences from the event. All performance make-up tests consist of playing the music from the event for the class (the “audience”) and graded by the band directors.

September 29 & October 8
Beginner Showcase Rehearsal and Performance

All Beginning Band students will perform at the Beginner Showcase for friends and families on October 8 at 6:00pm.

Uniform for the performance is band shirt and SCHOOL APPROPRIATE blue jean pants/shorts or navy pants/shorts.

This is a performance grade and will require a make-up test for any absences from the event. All performance make-up tests consist of playing the music from the event for the class (the “audience”) and graded by the band directors.

October 8
Honor Band @ Hispanic Heritage Celebration

All Honor Band (2nd period) musicians will perform at the Hispanic Heritage Celebration (following the Beginner Showcase) on October 8 at 6:30pm

Uniform for the performance is band shirt and SCHOOL APPROPRIATE blue jean pants/shorts or blue school uniform pants/shorts.

This is a performance grade and will require a make-up test for any absences from the event. All performance make-up tests consist of playing the music from the event for the class (the “audience”) and graded by the band directors.
