Renewal of Level 1 Google Certification
*This course should only be completed if you have previously earned a Level 1 Certificate and would like to renew your certification.*
Google Level 1 Certifications expire every three years.
Due to being previously certified, you will only need to complete a one hour refresher course that ensures you are aware of the most recent updates from Google.
The refresher course is available online through Canvas.

You will use Canvas to access the online training modules to prepare to take the Level 1 Certification test for RENEWAL.
The information is laid out in an easy to use format with videos, examples, and practice opportunities embedded. At the end, practice exam questions are provided to gauge how well you have internalized the content.
Follow steps 1 - 4 below to complete the online training and your certification process.
Complete the online training on Canvas
Click image to the left for the course you would like to complete
Fill in your email and click "I already have a Garland ISD login
Add password
Click "Enroll in Course" Select your desired training
Click "Go to Course"
You will then see the modules listed out by unit. Start with Unit #1 and work your way through. You do not have to finish all the modules in one sitting! You may step away and return any time you need. You must make sure you are signed-in in order for the system to remember where you left off.
Request a testing voucher from the Digital Learning Team to take the certification test AFTER completing the virtual training - be sure to select RENEWAL on the form
