Bootcamps do not have to been take sequentially, although it is highly recommended.
Bootcamps are an 6-hour experience.
Full Day attendance and participation are required to qualify for a testing voucher.

Spend the day in the Jurassic era digging up advanced Google skills. This recommended follow up to the Level 1 Bootcamp focuses on Google tools and how to apply them in the classroom.

Prefer to test with a support crew? Join the Digital Learning Team at the PDC for a group testing session! You'll be in a calm, collaborative environment — no pressure, just encouragement. We host two group test opportunity each year in December and May.

Google's Education Training Center
Google's Education Training Center
You will use Google's Education Training Center online training modules to prepare to take the Level 1 Certification exam.
The information is laid out in an easy to use format with videos, examples, and practice opportunities embedded. At the end of each module, practice exam questions are provided to gauge how well you have internalized the content.
Follow steps 1 - 4 below to complete the online training and your certification process.
Complete the training on Google's Education Training Center
Select your desired course above
Click GET STARTED
Click the Log In button in the top right of the page and login using your Garland ISD Google Account
You will now be logged into the training. The system will track your progress in case you have to step away and come back.
You will then see the modules listed out by unit. Start with Unit #1 and work your way through. The system will track your progress, so you do not have to finish all the modules in one sitting! You may step away and return any time you need. You must make sure you are signed-in in order for the system to remember where you left off.
Request a testing voucher from the Digital Learning Team to take the certification test AFTER completing the virtual training
Register for and take your certification exam
Upload your certificate to get recognition and swag
You must use your '@garlandisd.net' email address to both sign-in to the online training and register for the certification exam.
