Garland High School Counseling Office Mission Statement:

The Garland High School Counseling Department uses a data driven comprehensive counseling program, which addresses the whole student.  Our program focuses on helping students advocate for themselves to develop their academic and career goals, as well as supporting their social, emotional learning.  Our goal is to help them become successful members of our global and diverse world community.

Garland High School Counseling Office Vision Statement:

The Garland High School Counseling Team works to support and empower students to achieve academic successes through ensuring their social emotional well-being. We use data-driven guidance in order to reach the needs of all GHS students. Our counseling team builds relationships through means of individual counseling, guidance lessons, groups and collaboration fostering a climate that facilitates future academic, personal and social emotional success.
