REQUIRES 3 HONOR COURSES YEARLY

Advanced Academics Pathway

Students required to take 3 honor's level core content courses each year and maintain a semester average of 75% or greater.

6th Grade Coursework

Math Content: 6th grade & 7th Grade TEKS

English Content: 6th grade & 7th Grade TEKS

Science Content: 6th grade & 7th Grade TEKS

7th Grade Coursework

Math Content: 8th grade TEKS

English Content: 8th Grade TEKS & Adv. Literature

Science Content: 8th Grade TEKS & Investigations

8th Grade Coursework

Math Content: Algebra 1 (EOC)

English Content: Advanced Literature & Spanish 1

Science Content: Enrichment Science

Pathway Promotion Plan (P3)

Pathways include: Advanced Academics, Leadership/P-TECH, Computer Science & MST

Expectations: A semester average of at least 75% must be maintained to stay on this pathway from semester to semester. Students will automatically be removed if any state assessment score of less than Approaches is earned by a student.

Requirements: Students may not have any exclusionary discipline or more than 3 administrative detentions for the semester.
