Students have access to MackinVIA through Ready Hub. Once in Ready Hub, choose the MackinVIA tile. Within MackinVIA, you should see the eBooks option on the left hand side menu.

Destiny Discover
To read Austin Academy eBooks on a Chromebook, laptop, or desktop, you need to access Destiny Discover found in Student Apps folder. Destiny Reads is an app that can be found in the Apple store or Google Play. The free app must be downloaded onto a device. Open the app, find Austin Academy for Excellence, and login using S+ID and gisd. Search for an e-book you want to read. Once you find your e-book, you can read it on your device. If you want to continue reading away from WiFi, you need to download the title to your device.
e-Books are on your device for 3 weeks. If you get finished before the 3 weeks, please be courteous and turn it back in. If you don't turn it in, the app will take it off of your device for you.
**Incoming 6th grade students may not have access to the Austin Academy catalog until closer to school starting. I will update here when I find out the exact date of new 6th graders having access.**

myON® by Renaissance® provides every pre-K–12 student with access to thousands of digital books and daily news articles. These texts can be read on web-enabled devices such as tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
Students have easy access to myON through Ready Hub.
Last month, hundreds of new secondary books were added, so be sure you visit myON this summer and see the new books!
