Being Prepared for Success

We are very excited that you have chosen to come to BCSS next year. Here are some helpful tips for you to make sure that you are prepared to learn everyday!

Bring the right Device

It is best to have a laptop or chromebook with you for school. These devices allow the most functionality with the programs we use. Other devices, like phones or tablets, are great but don't offer the same capabilities.

Make sure you are charged

Try your best to ensure your device is charged before you get to school. There is nothing worse then being in the middle of a task and running our of power. Also, If need be, make sure you bring your charger to school if you need to re-charge at any point.

Store your device in a safe and Secure Place

It is important that you keep your property safe. Keeping your device in your locker is a good way to make sure that nothing happens to it when you aren't using it.

Also be careful who you lend your device to. It is your responsibility to keep it safe.

Keep your login information Private

Your YRDSB login information is personal, and needs to remain private. Giving your information to someone else gives them access to a lot of information about you.
