Our own Boarding Local Service where Grade 11 Boarders are paired up with Neurodiverse Primary School students to assist with homework, play with purpose and mentor during weekly sessions in the boarding house
A chance to volunteer in our community garden student initiative. Help to plant and tend edible and other native plants. We also recycle some boarding house kitchen waste as compost to use in the garden
Our Boarding GC is based in Nepal and we have a particular link to the Dharapanee Basic School
We have initiatives running throughout the year to improve our sustainability. From beach cleanups, to composting, gardening, recycling and volunteers sorting donations of clothing and school equipment at the end of the year. Talk to the Green council to get involved and to share your ideas
The boarding week starts with Community Tuesday at 5pm each week. The programme includes meetings, activities and events. It is an opportunity to get together as a whole community or in smaller groups to learn, think and develop.
These sessions often form part of the Residential Life programme, and are often supplemented by optional meetings and events on other evenings during the week. See the What's on page for details
