If you are using a Gmail personal account regularly, the best is to set up a Google Chrome Profile. Make sure you download Google Chrome and keep it up to date.
Google Calendar and Google Tasks are some of the best time management and planning tools you have. You can create separate calendars and organize tasks sets.
In Google Tasks, you can create to-do lists and allocate time to do them. As you create calendar events to organize your schedule, you can add Video Conferencing to your meetings, invite guests, type notes and add documents.
Google Keep is your quick annotation tool. You can take notes and share them with others to collaborate.
We recommend downloading the mobile version of Google Calendar and Google Tasks.
You will do most of your schoolwork using Google Apps tools. Keeping your files organized and easily accessible will give you the time you need to focus on your study and tasks.
Golden rules:
Create a Google Drive folder for each course you take.
Organise files as soon as you get them.
Use and update Google Priority.
Sync your computer files to Google Drive, only the most important stuff.
Stay connected to people, be present and active in conversation with your teachers and peers.
Golden rules:
Check your email and if relevant, reply to the sender.
Avoid sending emails to teachers after school hours.
Manage chat rooms and only remain as a member if required.
Be mindful of people's schedule before sending chat messages.
Follow guidelines for Google Meet use.
In the past, people had to install these tools separately on their computers. Today they are available in the Google Apps cloud, which means you can use your files anywhere. The work you create is linked with your gapps account and not to your device.
