Adam has been a musician for over a decade. He plays saxophone for Thomson Big Band and he performed as a guitarist with Singapore’s Flamenco Sin Fronteras dance company. Gigs in Singapore include playing at the Botanic Gardens, Marina Bay Sands and Esplanade.
He earned post graduate degree in international education with merit and has been teaching music actively in UWCSEA East Campus Singapore, since March 2017.

Singaporean born piano teacher Adeline Lim teaches at Dulwich College Singapore and United World College-East Campus. She has more than 30 years of experience in piano teaching and piano accompaniment. She obtained her LRSM in Piano Performing and LRSM in Piano Teaching in a quick succession over 10 months while under the tutelage of Victor Doggett and Nicholas Doggett.
Adeline has taught students from 4 - 60 years of age and has collaborated with many instrumentalists for their performances. She counts working with students and fellow musicians from such diverse backgrounds and nationalities one of her greatest achievements.
Besides her piano teaching, Adeline is a Music Adjudicator at the Asia-Pacific Arts Festivals.
Adeline is a life-long Manchester United fan and she is also an epicure.

Alvin is a professional guitarist and composer based in Singapore. He attended Berklee College of Music on a scholarship in 2009 and graduated Magna cum laude in Performance.
While at Berklee, he had the privilege of studying with some of the best musicians and teachers in the world, including, Tim Miller, Bruce Saunders, Nir Felder, Hal Crook and many others.
He also has a grade eight certificate with distinction from the Associated Board of Royal College of Music in classical guitar performance.
Before leaving for US, Alvin was an in demand music instructor at various music schools and public schools in Singapore.

Alvin is an experienced music instructor that has taught for many years in Singapore both privately, and at various music schools and public schools including Motivate Music School, and School of Music and the Arts.
He is currently the head guitar instructor at play by ear music, school and on the guitar faculty at Raffles Music College.
He has a degree in Performance from Berklee College of Music, and a grade eight with distinction in Classical Guitar Performance from the Associated Board of Royal College of Music.
Students can choose to learn anything they have in mind. Topics include, but are not limited to, improvisation, classical guitar technique, sight reading, music theory and general musicianship.

Axel has traveled throughout Asia, Europe and USA giving masterclasses and performing with orchestras such as Israel Philharmonic, American Bach Soloist, San Francisco Symphony, Macao Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and has performed under the baton of distinguished conductors like Michael Tilson Thomas, Sir Simon Rattle, Riccardo Chailly, Mariss Jansons, Okko Kamu in many important concert venues including the Louis M. Davies Symphony Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, The Concertgebouw and the Berlin Philharmonie.

From his earliest years Axel forged a pioneering path in creating new music for percussion. He has given the premier performances of a vast number of new concertos, solo literature and has appeared as soloist with orchestras and ensembles such as the San Francisco Composer Orchestra, San Francisco Youth Symphony, Singapore National Youth Orchestra, Singapore Wind Symphony Percussion Ensemble and Singapore Wind Symphony. He also did a California west coast premiere of the opera, Wozzeck by Alban Berg re-orchestrated by John Rea for chamber ensemble setting with Ensemble Parallel, a French New Music Ensemble. He had premiered Satoshi Yagisawa Marimba Concerto with the Singapore Wind Symphony in 2011 in an acclaimed sold-out performance conducted by Mr Satoshi, in Singapore.
Axel currently serves as the Music Director of the Singapore Wind Symphony Percussion Ensemble since 2011, he has taken the ensemble to greater heights by winning the Gold Award with Distinction, 92.67 at the World Music Contest for Percussion Ensemble (First Division) 2013 in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. He founded Singapore Percussion Ensemble Festival in 2014 to bring more awareness of Percussion Ensemble movement in Singapore.
Axel is a Yamaha artist and coaches the percussion / timpani students at the Singapore National Youth Orchestra.

Jeremy is the first Singaporean winner of the Tan Ngiang Kaw/Ann Memorial Vocal Competition and a recipient of the bronze award and special-mention certificate at the Bangkok Opera Foundation International Singing Competition. He was among the two selected for the Singapore Lyric Opera Young Artist Program (2016) and has also performed as a soloist with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Ding Yi Music Company, Flamenco Sin Fronteras among other amazing companies. His endeavors have given him the privilege to perform for the world premieres of works such as Nicole Murphy’s opera, The Kamikaze Mind; Goh Toh Chai’s Song of The Rising Wind, Philip Tan’s Symphony of Life, Joshua Yang’s Still Life in Blue Minor, etc.

Jeremy also leads the Spot Pocket Opera Theatre as artistic director, where he produces touring concerts and promotes community music-making. In support, he was offered a place in the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre’s S.T.A.R. Mentorship Programme. He was recently featured as the lead character in The Curious Adventure of the Salaryman as part of the National Library Board’s Read! Fest 2021. Together with Yishun Health, Jeremy is involved in the development of a unique vocal programme for individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma.
Aside from his private voice studio, Jeremy devotes his time as an adjunct lecturer at the NAFA School of Music, Centre for Lifelong Learning, the National Silver Academy and United World College Southeast Asia. He has a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree from the Royal College of Music and a NAFA Diploma in Music.

Jingyun Ng (Jyn) is a voice educator, bodymind awareness coach, and performer with over 11 years of professional experience. She creates curiosity-led learning spaces where people can discover compelling ways of communicating, moving, and being at their soul’s pace. In voice lessons, she guides people to explore their unique voice so that they can express themselves with ease and confidence. She is acquainted with teaching singing in pop, musical theatre, rock, metal, experimental, and western classical styles. She also teaches musicianship and holistic stage performance skills.

Jingyun runs her Know Your Voice private practice where she offers 1-1 coaching and group experiences. Since 2016, she has facilitated voice- and bodymind exploration workshops in partnership with Esplanade Voices Festival, YSTCM-NUS, NAFA, The Voice Company, Orangetheory Fitness and others. She is also an arts performance coach for choirs, music education programmes, and theatre productions. Most recently, she vocal coached for Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park: Macbeth (2025).
A boldly spirited vocalist, Jingyun traverses western classical opera/new music, sound-and-movement experimental projects, and voiceover engagements. Performance credits include shows with The Opera People, L'arietta, Odyssey Dance Theatre, Madhatter Project, Mervin Wong, Bennett Bay, and KEAT. Past stage roles include Oberto (Handel’s Alcina), Dora (Laitman’s The Three Feathers), Ghita (Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg), and Leah (Chen’s Laksa Cantata).
She holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Voice Performance with highest distinction from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (National University of Singapore); Graduate Certificate of Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology; and is an alumna of School of the Arts Singapore. Jingyun continues to deepen her appreciation of our expansive human experience—through intensive Alexander Technique teacher-training (2019-2023 in Netherlands, U.S., and U.K.); experiential education in arts pedagogy, somatic- and touch-based therapy; and inclusion practices.

Kim Pin LOW earned a Diploma in Music from Nanyang Academy of Fine Art (NAFA) in Singapore. With a special interest in music teaching and pedagogy, he received professional training in the Suzuki Method, Dalcroze Method, Music Mind Games, and more. As an active performer and teacher in Singapore and Malaysia and is a highly sought after trainer in local school guitar ensembles and guitar community clubs. He has performed in many venues including Lee Foundation Theater, Singapore National Art Museum, Singapore Flamenco Festival, and various private events. He has worked together with various musicians including choir conductors, vocalists, cellists, pianists, composers, and guitarists.

Kim Pin was born in Ipoh, Malaysia in 1991. He studied classical guitar with Hunter Mah Chia Chu and Manuel Cabrera II. He also participated in numerous masterclasses, including ones run by Judicael Perroy, Flavio Cucchi, Pavel Steidl, Berta Rojas, John Mill, Richard Wright, Fabio Montomoli, Grigory Novikov, Hong Tee, Joseph Perez Mirandilla, Matthew McAllister, Nathan Fisher, and Philippe Loli.

Lee Tisdall-McPhee is an accomplished double bassist and bass guitarist with extensive experience as both a performer and educator. He has developed a versatile career spanning classical, jazz, and contemporary music. With a strong interest in music education and ensemble coaching, Lee has worked with students of all levels, sharing his expertise in performance technique, ensemble playing, and musical interpretation. As an active performer, he has appeared in a wide variety of settings. Lee has collaborated with a diverse range of musicians, including conductors, composers, vocalists, and instrumentalists, and is known for his deep, resonant tone and musical sensitivity.

May is a performing artist with the M.A Artists, a music production and management agency based in Belgrade, featuring classical music productions across Europe. She has performed in numerous music festivals in Russia, Serbia, Singapore and South-East Asia such as the Performing Art Festival, RGSU International Festival, Singapore Performer's Festival etc. In 2018, she made a solo recital appearance on the Slobomir National TV playing Cesar Franck's 'Sonata in A major for violin & piano', to the acclamation of the audience and critics. Additionally, May plays with the Russian State Social Orchestra, and various chamber ensembles and orchestras in Singapore and Italy, performing in Cultural Centre in Moscow, Esplanade, and the Arts House in Singapore.

His career in Asia's jazz scene has expanded widely including some of the biggest jazz festivals in the region Java Jazz , Borneo Jazz , Perth Fringe Fest , Kathmandu Jazz , Johor & KL Jazz fest , North India Guwahati Fest , Koh Samui Jazz , SingJazz Fest just to name a few. Bringing a taste of Cuban music to Singapore with his own band Havana Social Club premiering some of the biggest scale events locally and now as a composer presenting his new project Pablo Calzado's Group with a new sound featuring a combination of World Music & Jazz Fusion.

ShuahNee Pitot started playing the piano and violin at the age of 6. She completed violin diploma at the age of 16 and went on to study music in England. She studied piano from renowned pianist Vanessa Latarche at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
After her music degree, ShuahNee stayed back in Europe, working as a peripatetic music teacher in various schools in central London, and played the violin with Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra and Baroque String Quartet in Paris.
ShuahNee Pitot started teaching as instrumental music teacher at UWCSEA (United World College of South East Asia) since year 2009.

Sihan started playing the cello when he was 8. He learnt the cello under Chan Wei Shing, Herminia Ilano and obtained a Diploma in Music Performance from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Yu Jing.
Chan Sihan has played in numerous ensembles and orchestras, including the Singapore Festival Orchestra, Singapore Chinese Orchestra, The Philharmonic Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera, Philharmonic Youth Winds ensemble, the Singapore Armed Forces Band, the Chamber Players, and the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, in which he was the associate principal of the cello section in 2006.

He was also the only string player to represent Singapore in the South-East Asian Youth Orchestra/Wind Ensemble in 2006. He is also the cellist of Chamber Sounds, a local chamber group dedicated to promoting and premiering local works written by fellow Singaporean composers.
Sihan has also worked with world-renowned artists such as David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, Jeff Chang, Nobuo Uetmatsu, Tan Dun, Charice, Natalie Cole, Ruben Studdard and Katherine Jenkins.

Stephanie started playing the piano at the age of 4 and has been teaching the instrument to all ages from young children to adults for more than a decade. During her school days she was part of the concert band and played the saxophone.
Under the tutelage of Nicholas Doggett, she obtained a DipABRSM in Piano Performance and DipABRSM in Piano Teaching.
Before joining UWCSEA East in 2015, Stephanie was a music instructor at various local schools teaching the general music programme as well as short instrumental courses such as keyboard and ukulele. She was also an instructor teaching Programme for Active Learning for several years where lower primary students nurture character development and learn socio-emotional competencies through interactive music activities.

Dr. Wong is an established artistic director, vocal pedagogist, professional opera singer, choral clinician, adjudicator and speaker at national, regional and international competitions, festivals, workshops and education conferences in Asia. The Voice Association (Singapore) was founded by her where she is the president.

In September 2005, she created OperAsia (OA). It is a unique vocal arts company that provides workshops, master classes, vocal education, voice care and audience development for opera arts. The company received The Excellent Organization Award from 2006 Asia Youth Arts Award in Seoul, Korea. Before creating OA, she was the Artistic Director, Acting General Manager, Choral Director of the Adult and Children's Chorus and Touring Company of Singapore Lyric Opera from year 2002 to 2005. International projects she initiated and organised were First World Voice Day Celebration, First Asia Pacific Voice Symposium, young artists opera exchange and workshop programs with the Hungarian National Opera House, The Kodaly Music School in Budapest and Hong Kong Children's Chorus.
A sought after specialist in training young voice, many of Dr Wong's outstanding students were placed at The International Llangollen Music Competition (Wales), The World Chinese Vocal Competition (Taipei), Asia Youth Arts Awards (Korea), Singapore Young Singer's Award and competitive college awards (Australia and USA). As a professional singer, she performed extensively in oratorios, operas and concerts in the United States, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, Canada, France, the UK and Hong Kong. On many occasions, she collaborated with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera and Singapore ballet.
Dr. Wong earned many accolades as well as several awards - Singapore National Music Competition, Singapore and Malaysia Vocal Competition, South East Asia Vocal Competition, San Angelo Young Artist Award, Austin Lyric Opera Young Artist of the Year, the 1998 International Donizetti Opera Competition in Bergamo, Italy and in 2000, the special Jury Award for outstanding interpretation at the International French Songs Competition in France. National Arts Council grants were awarded to study Dalcroze Eurhthythmic, Estill Voice Training System, and The New York's Metropolitan Opera Education Programme.
Dr. Wong was a student at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and earned her Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate of Musical Arts (in Vocal Performance) at The University of Texas in Austin. She later pursued a one year Post-Doctorate Opera Studies in Verona, Italy. She also holds the LRSM and FTCL diplomas in piano performance.

Terry is an internationally acclaimed flute specialist who is equally at home in a variety of musical styles. He has thrilled audiences across Asia with his versatility and exciting performances on all members of the flute family (from piccolo down to the contrabass flutes), Irish whistle, Chinese flute (dizi), recorder, and ocarina (clay flute). In his two decades of teaching experience, Terry’s excellent track record includes guiding several students in attaining Distinction in the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 8 and Diploma examinations. He is also a highly sought-after tutor for flute students in bands all over Singapore.

As a professional flutist, Terry has represented Singapore in high profile international events and music festivals in China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and India. His all-rounded musicality has been heard in a wide array of settings, ranging from performances at the Istana for local and foreign dignitaries, the opening ceremony of the Ministry of Information and the Arts (MITA) Building, to the launching of National Geographic Channel in Bombay and to playing the flute chair for ‘Lion King’ in MBS, considered the most challenging flute parts in all musical due to the varieties of flutes being played.
Aside from his classical background, Terry Ang is also widely regarded as the region’s most successful flutist in the field of commercial music. He has collaborated with such international artists as Jacky Cheung, Kit Chan, Zhang Hui Mei, FannWong and Stephanie Sun, resulting in numerous commercial recordings and TV productions. His eclectic ensemble, E-Tree, comprising a sitarist, a tabla player and himself, continues to be an audience favourite in various commercial events.Right now he is playing with his trio ,SBT trio with their most recent performance for the Mosaic Festival 2014 invited by Esplanade.
Terry Ang was the President of Flute Ensemble (Singapore) (2005-2009) , a position that facilitated his presentation of master classes by important flute masters, including the celebrated flutist, James Galway. He dedicates his spare time to doing extensive research in flute production and design, expanding his knowledge of the instrument’s mechanics and methodology, making him one of the leading flute educators in the country.

Ms Vera Boyadzhieva was raised and educated in the city of Varna, Bulgaria. She started her music education at the age of 5 at the State School of Music in her city. She gave her first performance at the age of 11 and has since taken part in many solo concerts and competitions. She graduated and received her Master’s Degree in violin from State Academy of Music-Sofia, Bulgaria where she studied with Prof. Ginka Gichkova (who is a pupil of the great Bulgarian violinist Emil Kamilarov – a Paganini Violin Competition winner) After she finished her highest education, Vera joined the orchestra of New York Harlem Theatre as a freelancer and for the past 17 years she took part periodically in their performances all over Europe and Japan. At the same time in 1996, she commenced work in Varna Symphony Orchestra and later in the State Opera Varna. Moreover, Ms Vera taught the violin at the High School of Music in Varna, Bulgaria, as well as teaching private students since 2000.

In 2006, she relocated to Cairo, Egypt where she worked for 5 years as a member of the Cairo Opera Orchestra in the position of an assistant-concertmaster. During her years in Cairo she taught the violin at the British International School and Modern English School. She became very popular as a tutor especially after one of her students won the first price in “Jugend Musiziert” Competition- Germany. Since 2011, Ms Vera has been teaching the Violin in Singapore.

Wayne Teo graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in France, where he studied solo piano with Erik Berchot and chamber music with the late Devy Erlih. He was awarded “Premier Prix- à l’unanimité et avec les félicitations du Jury”- First prize unanimously with commendations, coming out top of his cohort.
A year later, he won 2nd prize at the International Nikolai Rubinstein competition in Paris. Wayne went on to study with the president of jury Igor Lazko, at La Schola Cantorum in Paris. Since then he has been performing regularly, in both solo and chamber concerts with his friends around the city.

In 2010, Wayne joined the Tongyeong International Music Festival to take part in the Isang Yun Music Academy, during which he worked with South Korean pianist Kaya Han and French pedagogue Francoise Thinat.
During his time in France, Wayne regularly took masterclasses with Olivier Cazal and Cecile Wang. They have been a profound inspiration to him, radically challenging his conception of music and giving him the ability to find and shape his identity. He obtained the Music Diploma of the State in 2012, the highest French diploma offered by the Conservatoire de Fresnes.
In 2014, he went on to win the 3rd prize at the Thailand International Chopin Piano Competition. In addition to piano, Wayne also holds a Grade 8 Distinction in Classical Singing.
