UWCSEA - East Campus
The Instrumental Teaching Programme (ITP) at UWCSEA East is a fundamental part of the Music programme in school and within the wider community.
Through the UWCSEA mission and values, the ITP aims to promote quality and advance the education of young people in all levels of music education, looking to the following aims:

Instrumental Programme Aims
To develop students understanding, skills, knowledge and appreciation of music.
To advance the education of young people within a global mindset and encourage cultural diversity through the performance and study of music.
To provide opportunities for students in the programme to further their individual and ensemble musicianship through the activity programme, supported by accompanying concerts, performances, productions, workshops and festivals.
To encourage students in the Programme to engage in Meaningful and Active Musical Service opportunities.
To facilitate communication among music teachers, students and parents.
To provide and support professional development through practical teacher workshops.
To provide enrichment for students in a deeper and more profound way through its connection to the wider musical community.
To celebrate musical achievement and success.
The UWCSEA Music department values all kinds of music and music makers that contribute to making education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
