This fantastic learning opportunity will have students designing and prototyping for Hyundai Motors. Analyse their latest Electric Cars and look at how future technology can be incoporated into the passenger's journey. With a visit to the SMART Factory as you and your team present your ideas, you'll be representing UWCSEA East in front of Anglo Chinese School (Independent), the School of Science and Technology and UWCSEA Dover. This opportunity will introduce you to real world applications of Industrial Design, User Centred Design, Innovation and leaders in Industry.

What to Expect
During this event, participants will have the incredible opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art Hyundai Motor Group's SMART Factory and farm. This tour is not only an eye-opener to the world of advanced manufacturing but also a chance to witness cutting-edge innovation in action.
HMGICS' industry experts will share their insights, experiences, and visions for the future, providing invaluable knowledge to our young minds. The heart of the event lies in the opportunity to research in real life, design for actual needs and pitch to the actual Industry. Students elsewhere simply don't have this opportunity, so take advantage of it.
Theme
How can we improve the passenger experience for those of diverse backgrounds
We believe that real-world exposure and hands-on experiences like these are essential in shaping our students into future-ready individuals.
Examples:
• Seamless Boarding & Off-Boarding: Solutions to simplify entry and exit for passengers with mobility challenges.
• Tools for Caretakers: Smart solutions that assist parents, caregivers, and helpers in ensuring a smooth journey.
• Self-Help & In-Cabin Navigation: Systems that help passengers independently navigate and interact with on-board features.
• Remote Experiences: Innovative ways to engage and support passengers before and during their journey, even from a distance.
• Multi-Sensory Interfaces: Alternative communication methods for passengers with visual, auditory, or cognitive impairments.
• Emergency & Safety Enhancements: Solutions to improve emergency response and passenger safety for vulnerable groups.

HS Students, priority must go to grade 11 IB Students in subjects that would benefit from the experience.
