Future Vet Kids Camp is back!
Future Vet Kids Camp is a dynamic holiday programme designed to blend learning with fun and adventure, giving young animal lovers an inside look into the world of veterinary care. Created by Australia’s "Bondi Vet" veterinarians, Dr Audrey and Dr Alison Shen, the camp combines interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and specially curated behind-the-scenes field trips. Campers learn directly from industry professionals, gaining both practical skills and valuable knowledge about animal care. They also discover the wide range of career pathways in the animal and veterinary fields, understand what it takes to work with animals and their owners, and learn how to better prepare themselves for future studies in veterinary science.
Camp Details
Location: UWCSEA East & Various Locations Around Singapore
Dates: 12–16 October 2026 (Day Camp, 9am - 3:30pm)
Priority: UWCSEA East students will receive priority consideration for all spots.

Those born in:
2016-2018: Enjoy exciting educational excursions, pet education (safety, grooming, first-aid, CPR), basic physical examination, dog and cat breeds, animal rehabilitation, making dog treats, and meeting guest speakers from the animal care industry, and more!
2013-2015: Experience behind-the-scenes access to vet/rehab/hydrotherapy clinics, blood draw workshops, animal behavior & training, pet grooming, basic physical examination, parasitology, basic anatomy, local biodiversity & sustainability, and meeting guest speakers from the animal care industry, and more!
2008 - 2011: Engage in hands-on learning with real veterinary tools, radiology diagnostics (X-ray, ultrasound, CT), assisting with mock surgeries, heart dissection, blood analysis, parasitology, spaying and neutering, behind-the-scenes access to vet/rehab/hydrotherapy clinics, meeting guest speakers, and a Q&A on University Admissions for Vet School, and more!
All programs offer a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow animal lovers and make lifelong friends.

Q: Can my child move up an age group if they have attended before?
A: To maintain the best dynamic for all participants, all campers—whether returning or joining us for the first time—are placed in groups based on their age rather than past experience.
However, we do aim to be as flexible as possible! Depending on the overall age distribution of this year's sign-ups, we may adjust the specific age brackets slightly (e.g., shifts like ages 8–10, 11–13, and 14–18). We will review and finalise the groupings once all registrations are complete.
Q: My child attended last year. Will this year's camp offer a new experience for returning students?
A: Absolutely! While we are keeping a few crowd-favorite field trips for our younger campers (like the goat and crocodile farms), we are introducing fresh destinations and updating our lesson content. We are also rotating in brand-new topics and activities, alongside a completely redesigned "Amazing Race" challenge to keep things exciting.
Our guest speaker lineup is currently being finalized to include new faces, subject to their availability. Every program is carefully curated so that both new and returning students within the same age group enjoy a fresh, valuable, and highly engaging experience.
Q: Is there a bus service available?
A: No, school bus services will not be provided for this camp. Parents will need to arrange their own transport for drop-off and pick-up.
