In this camp, students will experience 2 of Young Engineers’ signature programs: Bricks Challenge and Play Machines.
Students are introduced to important scientists and inventors such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton, Archimedes and more. We use their stories to inspire and educate our young engineers.
Students learn about many different topics, including the following: the laws of physics, centrifugal force, centripetal force, force of inertia, kinetic energy, potential energy, law of action-reaction, lift force, torque, leverage points, load distribution, force conservation, angular momentum and more. Students learn the necessary mathematical skills required in making the scientific calculations, needed to build their models.

To bring: A full water bottle, snack, writing materials, jacket/cardigan
In this camp, students will experience 4 of Young Engineers’ signature programs: Bricks Challenge, Robo Bricks, Galileo Technic and Robotics.
The programs provides an advanced level of thematic study, implementing mechanical engineering principles through building our proprietary LEGO® bricks and Robotics models.
Students also explore the world of robotics engineering using WeDo 2.0 and Mindstorms EV3 Block-Based Coding software to program the robots they built.
Students will also develop important future ready life skills such as Procedural-logical and Algorithmic thinking, Program engineering capabilities, Program-mechanic optimisation problems skills, Creative thinking, Self-confidence and a sense of self-efficacy, Team work, Media literacy; all while having fun!
