Week 2: 6 July 2026 - 10 July 2026
Step into the world of filmmaking and learn how stories come to life on screen. In this hands-on holiday programme, students will explore the fundamentals of film production, including shot types, camera techniques, storytelling, and editing. Working in small teams, participants will plan, shoot, and edit their own short films while developing practical skills and creative confidence. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to try something new.

Discover the magic behind movie effects in this creative, skills-based workshop. Students will experiment with green screen techniques, basic animation, and simple sound effects to create imaginative short sequences. From making objects disappear to placing themselves in impossible worlds, and working in our brand new sound recording booth, participants will learn how filmmakers use digital tools to enhance storytelling. This course is perfect for beginners who want to explore the more playful and technical side of filmmaking while building hands-on production skills.
