Learn the basics of debating in this holiday programme! The programme will teach students the skills of public speaking and argument construction and introduce students to important global and local affairs and issues. 

Debate Holiday Camp is tailored to the experience level of students to ensure that they learn and grow at a suitable pace. It is run by UWCSEA Dover's Debate Team Coaches, trained in competitive debate formats like the World Schools Debating Championships and British Parliamentary Debate. 

New debaters can look forward to learning the basics of debate as a team sport. The sessions will cover the rules, techniques and skills to successfully deliver a debate speech. Students will have the opportunity to make speeches and receive personalised feedback for improvement.
