Learn the basics of debating in this holiday programme! Build your confidence, critical thinking, and public speaking with the coaching team from UWC's School Debate team. 

Debate Holiday Camp is tailored to the experience level of students to ensure that they learn and grow at a suitable pace. It is run by UWCSEA Dover's Debate Team Coaches, trained in competitive debate formats like the World Schools Debating Championships and British Parliamentary Debate. 

New debaters can look forward to learning the basics of debate as a team sport. The sessions will cover the rules, techniques and skills to successfully deliver a debate speech. Students will have the opportunity to make speeches and receive personalised feedback for improvement.

What to Bring: Notebook/notepad, pens and writing materials, full water bottle and snacks
