Intelligent Systems Engineering Laboratory
Launched in summer 2004, the Intelligent Systems Engineering laboratory is dedicated to the Sustainable Logistics Management, Semiconductor Manufacturing Scheduling, and Intelligent Systems Engineering applications, such as Industry 4.0/5.0, Big Data Predictive Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Quality Control and Management, and Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Enforcement Learning. Currently, we have 4 local master's students (IM), two international students (ITB Dual Degree MS Program), and two special project teams of undergraduate students.
智慧型系統工程實驗室成立於2004年夏天，主要的研究內容為永續物流管理、半導體製造排程與智慧型系統工程應用問題，包括工業4.0/工業5.0、大數據預測分析、人工智慧、量子計算、品質管制與品質管理、機器學習/深度學習/強化學習。目前實驗室成員包括四位本國籍碩士班研究生、兩位印尼籍ITP雙聯學制碩士班研究生(印尼工業局)與兩組大學部實務專題小組。
In the ISE Lab., each one of the students has a theme. The Advisor determines the outlines of research themes of graduate students. Because solo research is difficult, collaborative research is important in engineering. Therefore, we form graduate students-centered groups with weekly meetings and back up each other.
在智慧型系統工程實驗室中，每位研究生均有一個研究主題，研究主題的架構將由指導教授決定。因為單獨作研究是非常困難的，所以協同研究在工程領域是極為的重要。因此我們以學生為中心，每週固定開會分享研究心得，並相互支援。
About Laboratory Internships, Exchange Students, and International Degree-Seeking Students
Laboratory Internships: For international undergraduate students and graduate students, please check Laboratory Internships for details. Please note that ISE Lab only offers NO PAID internship positions at most a 4-month period during the summer season from June to September every year. You need to pay your own travel expenses/Housing/On-campus dining by yourselves. Proof of financial support statement and study plan are required when you email the Lab Director. Missing any required documents assigned by OIA, and this note will not receive any returned email.
International Degree Seeking Students (especially for Ph.D. program): Please check OIA Degree Seeking Students for details for international degree-seeking students OIA Degree Seeking Students for details. There is no need to contact the Lab Director in advance. You need to prepare all documents according to NTUST guidelines and follow all procedures by the university. You can contact the Lab Director after you arrive in Taiwan and report to the OIA and IM department Office at NTUST.
