Current NTNU students in the Teacher Education Program (TEP) or those who already have obtained a teacher certificate are welcome to apply.
Other requirements to be met for the 4 programs are shown below.
Teacher certificate and subjects of teaching will be verified when applying for the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning.
Students who already have obtained their TEP Certificate or Teacher Certificate should confirm that their subject of teaching meets the requirements of the applied program.

Programs of IBEC in NTNU do not provide a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree but, rather, a program certificate in addition to students' original degrees. Students from abroad should be enrolled in NTNU undertaking a formal bachelor's degree or above first to apply for the IBEC program.

Application: Around March each year. Please submit the application form and relevant documents to the appropriate departments before the posted deadline
Oral examination: Around April-May. The responsible departments will arrange oral examinations after reviewing the submitted application documents. Actual dates of oral examinations will be posted online.
Admission/waiting list announcement: Around May each year. Admission lists will be posted on the respective departments’ websites and no individual notification will be provided. If any delay occurs, announcements will be posted on the website.
Admission registration : Around May each year. Admitted students should report to the respective departments to formally begin their study and those who do not report to nor submit required forms as instructed will be regarded as forfeiting their admission application.
Waiting list registration : Around May each year. A waiting-list registration may be held according to the actual situation of admission registration. Applicants on the waiting list should report to the respective departments in person or prepare a letter of authorization to entrust another person.

※The admission quota may be less than the numbers above and may be adjusted according to the number of applicants and actual admission situation. The total amount will not be 1.5 times more than the numbers above.
※The waiting-list quota will be decided by the responsible departments.
