Mrs. Jodi Smith   

2022-2023 will be my 21st year of teaching at Edgar Elementary School.  I have previously taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, Gifted and Talented and Study Skills at Edgar.

I grew up in Minocqua, WI, completing my High School degree from Lakeland Union High School.  I completed my Elementary/M.S. degree in Elementary Education at UW Eau Claire with an Early Childhood minor from UW Stout.  I received my Reading 316 Degree from UW Stout.

I have a seven-year old son, Jordan, and a four-year old daughter, Josie! In my spare time, I enjoy spending every minute with my family.  My family and I really enjoy traveling to other states/places.  I also enjoy reading and relaxing at the beach.

Ms. Penny Skahaug

2022-2023 will be my 26th year of teaching at Edgar Elementary School.  I taught 5th grade for two years, followed by 17 years at the 1st grade level and 6 years as a Reading  Interventionist.   I have been very blessed to work with exceptional colleagues and staff at our school district!   

My elementary education began in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  I completed my H.S. degree at Altoona, Wisconsin.  My Elementary/M.S. Education Major is from the University of Stevens Point (Minor: Mathematics).

I have two children, (both are Edgar alumni), three grandsons and one granddaughter!  

The Brewers, Packers & Bucks are my FAVORITE sports teams and I LOVE watching them play!  :)
