Visual Art

 Every child is an artist and deserves to be treated as such.  My job as a teacher is to introduce kids to concepts, techniques, and styles. Provide a framework for these things through art history lessons, studio experiences, books, and museum experiences. The lessons I teach give kids a structure through which to explore those things.  Art, history, art elements, and specific goals for each project are given. The number one goal in the art education of a child is to instill a love of creating. If a child is inspired to express themselves through the making of anything the rest will follow.
