🌞SUMMER School 2026🌞

EDGAR SCHOOL DISTRICT SUMMER SCHOOL 2026:

Parents,

It is time to start thinking about summer school!  Summer School will run for five weeks from June 15-July 16, four days a week (Monday-Thursday).  Swimming will be offered for 2 two-week sessions and the first two sessions start the week prior to regular summer school starting.  Swimming session one and two run June 8-June 18 and swimming sessions three and four run June 22-July 2.   All sessions run 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday).  

We will continue to post all of our summer school information on this online site!  Please check out the tabs at the top that have all of the information needed to guide you in signing your child up for Edgar's summer school!  

All classes offered for each of the levels with descriptions (elementary, middle school and high school) are listed above.  The Course Summary tab gives you a quick look at all of the offerings 4K-12.  Please click on the REGISTRATION tab on the far right to register your child for summer school.  You can only register one child at a time.  You will receive an email notification of the classes you signed up for.  Once a class is full we will contact you to make another selection.  

REGISTRATION IS OPEN STARTING TUESDAY, APRIL 7th AND CLOSES ON THURSDAY, APRIL 30th.  Breakfast and lunch will NOT be available this summer.  Drivers Ed Classroom will also NOT be offered this summer.  All families should have received a letter via Skylert regarding NO Drivers Ed classroom. 

Please note the following routines that we will have in place for summer school:

• • All students will go right to their summer school classes instead of waiting outside or in the cafeteria.

  • We ask that parents wait outside at noon to pick up their students and teachers will bring their classes outside for pick up to avoid crowded hallways.

  • There will be no parking in front of the school to pick up your child from summer school due to safety concerns.  Please park in the parking lot or on the side streets.

Please note the dates/times for summer school:

DATES:  June 15-July 16 (no school on Fridays with the exception of CHESS CLUB)

DAYS:  Monday-Thursday

TIMES:  A.M. sessions 8:00-12:00 (8:00-10:00, 10:00-12:00 or 8:00-12:00).  The Strength & Speed class for grades 9-12 is offered from 6am-8am.
