WILD ABOUT SUMMER SCHOOL

Class Description: "Wild About Summer School" is an introductory class to new 4K students who will be beginning school in the Fall of 2026. We will focus on all developmental areas, including social skills, school routines, and beginning school readiness activities. All activities will focus on the excitement for learning and beginning school!
JUST RELAX WITH BOOKS!

Course Description: Students will dive into a variety of engaging activities designed to boost mindfulness, positivity, and relaxation—all while building a love for reading. Each day brings something new, including coloring along to music, a “Joke of the Day” to spark laughter, and community circles where everyone can share and connect. Kids will stay active with energizing movement breaks like yoga, dance parties, walks, and brain boosts. They’ll also explore hands-on sensory fun with playdough, kinetic sand, and cool STEM toys. Time for journaling and reflection helps them unwind and express themselves. Once everyone is feeling relaxed and ready, we’ll jump into amazing books brought to life with creative crafts and activities that make each story unforgettable. It’s the perfect mix of calm, creativity, movement, and imagination—students won’t want to miss it!
LEGO LAND
Grades: 3-5

Course Description: In Lego Land, students will use their creativity to build with multiple Legos, which include free building, themes each week, challenge Lego cards, Lego car races, and much more!

Course Description: Come join the fun this summer where we will explore all different kinds of games. This includes board games, card games, outdoor games, brain teasers, and many more. Many games will be centered around reinforcing reading and math skills.
ADVENTURES IN READING & MATH

Course Description: Students will participate in math and reading centers, math and reading games, oral reading practice, phonemic awareness practice, small group reading, partner reading, and reading to self. We will go to Oak Street Park and Scotch Creek Parks to enjoy outdoor reading! Come and enjoy adventures in reading and math.
PLAY 120

Course Description: Are you ready to have fun? In Play 120, we will be enjoying a variety of games and activities including: playground games, sports games, cooperative games, adventures to the school forest, and much more! Come join the fun, and let's get ready to Play 120!
SWIMMING

Course Description: There will be two 2-week sessions of swimming offered this summer. Dates are: June 8-18 and June 22-July 2. First session bus loads at 7:45, leaves at 8:00 and returns at 10:15. Second session bus loads at 9:30, leaves at 9:45 and returns at 11:45.
PINTEREST INTEREST - D.I.Y.

Course Description: Spark your creativity with Pinterest-inspired D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) crafting, hands-on learning class! Each week we will have new and exciting themes to channel your creativity with make and take projects.
DISNEY DAYS

Course Description: I will be sharing my love of disney with students! Each week we will have a theme-typically a movie title. We will do "Disney Park Magic" where we watch clips from the parks, do themed crafts and writing exercises, go to recess and watch movies! Jump into the Magic of Disney!
CRIME SOLVERS
Grades: 4-8

Course Description: This class covers crime solving basics: finger painting, scavenger hunts, solving mysteries, and riddles. Use your best detective skills to solve mock crime scenes. We will play CLUE and watch a mystery movie!
MS FIT 4 LIFE
Grades: 5-7

Course Description: Students will build a foundation for lifelong wellness through a high-energy mix of team sports, personal fitness challenges, and individual training.
BOARD GAME BONANZA

Course Description: The students will challenge themselves and others as they participate in a variety of fun strategy board games. A variety of games will be played, and tournament games will challenge the students even more. No level of expertise required. Simply come join us for several weeks of great gaming fun!

HUNTER'S SAFETY - June 22-25 4:00-8:00 (DNR requires a $10 registration fee)
Grades: Ages 11 and older

Course Description: Instruction in proper handling of firearms and hunter's safety. You will earn your hunter safety certificate. You must attend all sessions to meet the required hours.
CHESS CLUB - FRIDAYS ONLY 8:00-10:00 or 10:00-12:00

Course Description: Students will learn the Chess basics: openings, tactics (forks, skewers, pins) and end of game. Students will learn different moves and strategies in the game of chess. Students will solve chess puzzles and engage in discussion about different situations on the board. Students will compete against each other.
