本院自108年8月1日起敦聘Prof. TEO教授,於109年年底為擴大影響力,進行TEO教授學術引領的全院意願調查,目前共有來自6個系所約10位的教師有意願接受TEO教授學術引領。並於109年10月21日辦理尹書田教育講座學術期刊撰寫引領視訊會議。受疫情的影響,合作將以視訊或是email的方式進行,本院受引領的教師將預計投稿的文章寄給TEO教授,TEO教授會於兩週內提供修改的建議,並要求於本院受引領的教師收到修改後的文章,於兩週內再回傳,TEO教授會再針對修改後的文章於兩週內提供意見,呈現一個持續的循環,直至完成投稿。
本季的報告中,追蹤至6月底參與教師與TEO教授的學術合作狀況。目前有進行合作的教師包含教育與學習科技學系陳美如老師、英語教學系的簡靜雯老師、特殊教育學系的孔淑萱老師及幼兒教育學系謝明芳老師。陳美如老師於這一季已與TEO教授進行1次視訊與5次的Email信件往來。目前已針對英文稿進行修改與討論,並進行第一輪的修改。特殊教育學系的孔淑萱老師相同持續與TEO教授以email的方式聯繫,目前將全文稿件email給TEO教授進行修改。另外,英語教學系簡靜雯老師與謝明芳老師,皆完成與TEO教授學術期刊的合作,目前已將稿件投稿至期刊,尚在審查中。

From the definition of technology, and it benefits to us such as promoting productivity, improving coordination, enabling equality of education, and individualizing the learning process, the speaker shows us the basic concept of technology acceptance.
Then, the speaker introduces Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), to see how people choose the technology and how they use them to change or manipulate their environment, the motivation could be technology-centered, human-centered, or environment-centered.
l Technology-centered paradigm
People think from the technology will concern whether it is good enough for people to use, several contributes such as compatibility would be examined to evaluate usefulness of technology, and quality would be used to evaluate its benefits.
l Human-centered paradigm
Professor Timothy use a animation video that a young man talking about the difficulties his elder family member encountering, to bring in the concern of human-centered paradigm, which cares more on gender, age and user experience. These human factors will influence both the perceived usefulness as well as perceived ease of use of certain technology, affect our self-efficacy of them, and finally result to different attitude of intention.
l Environment-centered paradigm
People also figure out how helpful the environment is for people to use technology, the facilitating conditions or technological supports from others would help enhance the perceived ease of use of technology.
In the last part of the speech, the speaker shows some research of technology acceptance which help us to know more about how technology influence us, and which factors matter when technology is showing its influence. Also, a general conclusion is given that human factors are influential in technology acceptance among various research.

Timothy Teo 教授的講座以全英講述的模式,內容十分豐富且完整,讓聽眾 能接收到許多與科技相關的多層面知識。採用英語授課在正確度與精準度在一 些專有名詞、研究資料的精確度確實提升許多,但建議教授可以在簡報中鑲嵌 一些中文翻譯或解釋,這樣較能讓初次學習到此課堂內容的聽眾快速且清楚地 抓住重點。很謝謝教授這場精彩的演講,真的是收穫滿滿!
雖然是遠距,但老師本身的投影片和演講內容就格外豐富,吸收了很多知識和反思,整堂課上的我都非常有精神,整體我都覺得很棒!另外老師做的事情也是直得我去學習的。也留給我了很大的思考問題去做後續的自我省思,很有收穫,謝謝講者。

The teacher is very attentive in the production of ppt. In addition to the neat layout, the presentation of the key points is also very clear, so that I can quickly grasp the key points through the presentation of the ppt while listening to the lecture.

I think this lecture is the best one since the online class. Although there was a short period of time waiting for the lecturer to enter the online classroom, the lecture process was very fluently. The best thing is that it is also very when playing the video. Thanks for the teachers and teaching assistance, so the final speech can be perfectly.
Besides, what I want to talk about is lecturer’s thoughtfulness. Some parts of the speech are not so easy for us to understand, but I can clearly feel that the lecturer slows down in when explaining to us. The more difficult words that we might not understand will also be repeated in Chinese by lecturer, made sure everyone understands it before continuing.
