Dr. Tien-Lin Wu earned his BS degree from the Department of Chemistry at NTHU in 2010, followed by his PhD degree under the supervision of Prof. Rai-Shung Liu in 2015. Subsequently, he conducted postdoctoral research in Prof. Po-Wen Chiu's Nanolab at IEE. The following year, he returned to Prof. Chien-Hong Cheng's group in the Chemistry Department. In 2019, he joined Prof. Timothy Swager's group in the Department of Chemistry at MIT.
In 2021, he returned to his alma mater, the Department of Chemistry at NTHU, as an Assistant Professor. His research interests lie in investigating the synthesis of polycyclic aromatics and optical materials for various organic semiconductors and applications, including OLEDs, OPVs, OFETs, and more.
