TRANSPORTATION
Route A: By Air (From Taiwan Mainland)
Most participants traveling from Taiwan will arrive at Kinmen Airport (KNH). The hotel is located approximately 10–15 minutes from the airport.
Taxi: A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel takes about 10–15 minutes (Approx. NT$ 200–250).
Public Bus: Take Bus Blue 1 (藍1) or Bus No. 3 directly from the airport to Shanwai Roundabout (山外圓環)/Wude Xinzhuang (武德新莊) .
From the stop, it is a 10-minute walk to the hotel.
Route B: By Ferry (For Participants from Greater Bay Area)
For guests traveling from the Greater Bay Area, the most convenient route is via Xiamen, followed by the "Mini Three Links" cross-strait ferry to Kinmen.
Step 1: Xiamen-Kinmen Ferry
Route: Wutong, Xiamen ↔ Shuitou, Kinmen (廈門五通碼頭 ↔ 金門水頭碼頭)
Duration: Approx. 30 mins.
Note: Please check the latest ferry schedule in advance and arrive at the terminal 60 minutes prior to departure for check-in.
Step 2: From Shuitou Pier to Hotel
Upon arrival at Shuitou Pier in Kinmen, you may proceed to the venue via:
Taxi: A direct taxi ride to Golden Lake Hotel takes about 25–30 minutes (Approx. NT$ 400–500).
Public Bus:
Stage 1: Take Bus No. 7 from the ferry terminal exit to Jincheng Station/Gymnasium (金城站/ 體育館站). The ride takes approximately 17 minutes.
Stage 2: Transfer to Bus Red 1 (紅1) or Blue 1 (藍1) and get off at Wude Xinzhuang (武德新莊) or the Shanwai Roundabout (山外圓環). This trip takes about 34–46 minutes.
Final Walk: From the stop, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the hotel.
Important Reminders
Travel Documents: International participants and those from Hong Kong, Macau, or Mainland China must ensure their Entry Permit to Taiwan and Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents are valid and processed in time.
Currency: New Taiwan Dollar (TWD) is the primary currency in Kinmen. It is recommended to exchange some cash at the ferry terminal or airport for local transport.
