English-Medium Instruction (EMI) refers to courses offered in educational institutions where English is not the native language. In these courses, content delivery, teacher-student interaction, learning activities, academic support materials, and the demonstration and assessment of learning outcomes are all conducted in English.
全英語授課（English as a Medium of Instruction, EMI）指的是在英語非母語的教育機構中以英文講授的課程。在這些課程中，課程內容的講授、師生互動、學習與學術教材，以及學習成果的展示與評估，皆以英語為主要語言。

EMI courses help students strengthen their academic English proficiency, equipping them with the international competitiveness needed in a globalized economy. For educators, teaching EMI courses enhances their English instruction, communication, and presentation skills, fostering international academic collaboration and publication. 

EMI 課程能幫助學生提升學術英語能力，使其具備在全球化經濟中所需的國際競爭力。對於教師而言，教授 EMI 課程有助於提升英語授課、溝通及表達能力，並大幅促進學術國際合作與發表。

This workshop is an inter-school teacher training program aimed at enhancing educators' English-Medium Instruction (EMI) teaching skills. It is jointly organized by the NTHU EMI Center and the NCCU EMI Resource Center, with accreditation from the Trinity CertPT-Validated NTHU Center. Participants will gain practical and theoretical knowledge in areas such as Effective Lecturing, Language Awareness, CLIL-based Strategies, etc.

本工作坊是一項跨校教師培訓計畫，旨在提升教育工作者的英語授課（EMI）技能。該課程由清華大學 英語教學精進中心與政治大學英語教學資源中心共同主辦，並經由倫敦Trinity 學院CertPT 認證中心之一的清華大學英語教學精進中心授證。參與者將學習實用且具理論基礎的 EMI 教學知識，如有效授課技巧、語言意識（Language Awareness）、內容與語言整合學習（CLIL）策略等。

Priority is given to faculty members of National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) and National Chengchi University (NCCU); however, teachers from other institutions are also welcome to apply. 

本工作坊優先提供給國立清華大學（NTHU）及國立政治大學（NCCU）的教師，也歡迎其他大專院校的教師申請參加。

The workshop is designed as a comprehensive five-day program to ensure participants gain the full benefits of the training. Therefore, we encourage full attendance. However, please feel free to contact us to discuss your situation, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

NTHU and NCCU faculty members receive a full subsidy covering course fees, transportation, and accommodation. Teachers from other universities who are accepted into the workshop will need to cover their own accommodation costs.

清華大學（NTHU）與政治大學（NCCU）的教師可獲得全額補助，涵蓋課程費用、交通費及住宿費。其他院校的教師若錄取，需自行負擔住宿費用。

Yes, participants who successfully complete the workshop will receive a Certificate of Course Completion accredited by the Trinity College London CertPT - NTHU Validated Center. 

If participants wish to obtain the Trinity College London CertPT qualification, they must complete a self-study phase consisting of four written assignments (approximately 65-70 hours). Upon successful completion of this phase, participants will be awarded the official TCL CertPT certification. The TCL CertPT NTHU Validated Center will organize additional workshops and provide the necessary support to assist participants in completing the four written assignments and guide teachers through the CertPT certification assessment.
