How to register and submit your 3MT video? 初賽報名與影片上傳方式

Prepare a 3-minute video of you orally introducing your original research (video file size limit of 100MB).
You are allowed to use one static slide in your 3MT presentation or no slide at all. The use of a slide is optional.
The full face or ideally the upper body of the speaker need to appear in the video. Non-verbal delivery, such as eye contact, facial expression, hand gesture, etc. is encouraged.
Please fill out the registration form, and upload your 3MT video here：https://forms.gle/v8o5NY8b3oNU1KyH9 (Please follow the instruction on how to name your files).

All successfully submitted 3MT videos will be reviewed by a panel of faculty from various disciplines.
A total of 12 finalists will be selected. The finalist candidates will be notified for availability of the final event.
The finalist list will be announced on our website by May 23 (Thursday), 6 p.m.
初賽繳交之影片將由各領域教師組成之委員會審查並選出十二位決賽入圍者，主辦單位透過email通知入選同學並確認能否參加決賽。
決賽名單將於5月23日公布於競賽網頁並通知入圍者。若無法參與5月30日現場決賽者將由次高分數者遞補。

The use of a slide is optional. If you choose to use a slide in your video, ensure it is ONE single static slide. You can hold a display device in hand when filming or post-edit the slide in the background without blocking a full view of you as the presenter.
No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
No additional props (e.g. costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.
Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.
Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g. no poems, raps or songs).
Presentations are to commence from the stage.
Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.
The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.

Presentation provided clear background and significance to the research question
Presentation clearly described the research strategy/design and the results/findings of the research
Presentation clearly described the conclusions, outcomes and impact of the research
Engagement and communication
The oration was delivered clearly, and the language was appropriate for a non-specialist audience
The PowerPoint slide was well-defined and enhanced the presentation
The presenter conveyed enthusiasm for their research and captured and maintained the audience’s attention
