ABOUT ME

I am an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at U.V. Patel College of Engineering, Ganpat University, Mehsana, Gujarat.

My academic and research interests are primarily centred on Thermal Engineering, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, Alternative Fuels, Combustion and Sustainable Energy Technologies.

My current doctoral research focuses on the experimental investigation of hydrogen-fuelled Porous Radiant Burners (PRBs) for domestic cooking applications. The research aims to explore hydrogen as a clean cooking fuel and investigate burner performance, combustion behaviour, thermal characteristics and emissions.

I completed my M.Tech. in Thermal System Design from S.V. National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, and my B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Ganpat University, with a research focus on hydrogen burner systems.

My teaching experience includes subjects such as Thermodynamics, Internal Combustion Engines, Heat Transfer and Renewable Energy, along with related thermal and energy engineering courses.

Alongside teaching and research, I contribute to academic quality, programme coordination, student project mentoring and institutional activities, including NBA Criterion 8 - Continuous Improvement, Minor, Honours & Specialization Programmes, and NAAC-related activities.

I am particularly interested in research collaboration, interdisciplinary projects, academic–industry interaction, clean energy innovation and sustainable engineering technologies.
