The objective of this hands-on workshop for “Beginner Electrical Engineers” is to provide basic practical knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, tools, and applications. It aims to develop technical skills, safety awareness, and problem-solving abilities through simple experiments and real-world activities, helping students gain confidence and interest in the field of electrical engineering.
PROFILE OF RESOURCE PERSONS
Prof. Diptiben H. Ganatra is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at U. V. Patel College of Engineering (UVPCE), a constituent institute of Ganpat University. She holds M.E. and B.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering and has over 15 years of teaching experience in engineering education. Her academic and research interests include Electrical Machines, Power Systems, and related areas of electrical engineering..

Prof. Utsav Yogesh Desai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (2020) and an M.Tech. in Electrical Power Systems (2024), graduating as a Gold Medalist. Combining two years of industry experience with academia, he contributes to teaching, laboratory development, and student mentoring. Specialized in MATLAB and PSIM, his core areas of interest include power system engineering and electrical machines. He has successfully guided undergraduate projects and continues to advance technical excellence in Electrical Engineering. .
