Campus Safety and Emergency Information

Your safety and peace of mind are a top priority during the Family Learning Vacation (FLV). FLV partners closely with Gallaudet University and the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University to ensure families are supported, informed, and cared for throughout their stay.

🚨 In Case of an Emergency

Call 911 immediately for any life-threatening emergency (medical, fire, or immediate danger).

Once safe, notify FLV staff or the Program Lead so we can support your family and coordinate next steps. 

🏨 Hotel Emergency Support

Contact the Kellogg Conference Hotel Front Desk for immediate on-site assistance, evacuation guidance, and coordination with campus services.

Hotel staff are trained to respond promptly and collaborate closely with campus safety officials.

🛡️ Gallaudet University Department of Public Safety (DPS)

The Department of Public Safety is available 24/7 to assist with emergencies and safety concerns.

DPS officers patrol the campus regularly on foot, by bicycle, and in vehicles, with a supervisor always on duty.
