2024 Spring Bake Sale
Had our spring bake sale this week! It was a huge success. Thank you to all those who brought goods and bought them!
Area 5 2024 Spring Leadership Conference
In late January, a few of our HOSA members travelled to Killeen for our very first HOSA conference. We competed in events, played games, and made many friends. We are so excited to go next year! #area5islive
Littlest Angel
This holiday season, we raised money as a chapter for a few children in need of some Christmas presents. We do this every year and are happy with the success of this year.
Visiting GJH
We traveled to the Junior High to teach the eighth graders about our program and taught them about vital signs and CPR.

We went to North Texas Medical Center to tour around the new clinic and then did some sidewalk chalk as a thank you. We have some talented artists in our chapter!
Homecoming Parade
We made a float for the homecoming parade! We had lot's of fun and threw lot's of candy!
Egg Hunt for Health
In March we played games to educate GHS students on what is healthy.. If their ball landed in an unhealthy cup, they got pinched by the Leprechaun
During the last week of October, GHCC helped make the posters and the theme days.
During the month of November, GHCC participated in the canned food drive to pie an assistant principale.
The Health Club assists with the annual physicals of our student athletes.
2019-2020 Our health club took a trip to Pecan Tree to view how the nursing assistants do their job at the nursing home.
The Club visited Peak Physical Therapy to learn all about this field and interact with patients and their staff
Throughout the school day on Oct. 15, our club educated students and staff at GHS on general health and wellness, Influenza, Covid-19, nutrition, and good sleeping habits.
GHCC educated the Junior our future high school students on basic skills in the Health Science Pathway, such as CPR and Vital Signs
At the GJHS, our health club went to the STEM event to educate our future generations and to show off our health program.
Health Club toured our local hospital to get real experience of how the hospital works and where maybe some of us might want to work sometimes.
Health Club shows off our Health pathway for our future high school students to persuade them to get interested.
